　　Hello guys and welcome back. Today it’s really really hot. So I’m at my university because there’s an air-conditioning there so it’s much better than at home. Today I want to teach you all the different ways to greet someone in Italian.

　　大家好，歡迎回來。今天真的很熱，所以我現在在學校，因為學校里有空調，比在家好多了。今天我將教大家意大利語中不同的打招呼方式。

　　Good morning when you wake up. You meet your family and you have your breakfast. You say “Buongiorno” that’s the most familiar Italian word in the world I think. And you can take “Buongiorno” pretty much for the morning until 12 a.m.

　　早晨起床之后，你會見到你的家人，和他們一起吃早餐。然后你說“早安”，我想這大概是全世界流行的一句意大利語了吧。在中午12點之前，你都可以說“Buongiorno”。

　　From 1 p.m. until let’s say 6 p.m., you say “Buon pomeriggio”.

　　下午1點到6點，你說“下午好”。

　　Then from 6:30/7 p.m. to 8 p.m., you say “Buonasera”.

　　然后，晚上6點半/7點到8點，你說“晚上好”。

　　And from 8 till midnight, you say “Buonanotte”.

　　晚上8點到半夜，你說“晚安”。(一般是睡前說)

　　You have a common “Ciao” used with friends and family. So it’s low register, quite informal. You can say “Ciao” both when you meet someone and when you leave.

　　通常，你可以和家人和朋友說“Ciao”，這個詞非常隨意�？梢杂糜诒磉_“你好”和“再見”。

　　So you can also say for example “Buongiorno” to a person that you come across along the way. It’s normal to say it even if you don’t stop and talk with this person.

　　另外，buongiorno這個詞可以用來和你路上迎面遇到的熟人說。一般，打個招呼不停下說話說很正常的。

　　Then you have another word which is pretty neutral and it’s “Salve”. You actually use it when you don’t know how to greet a person that you don’t know basically. Or actually I do so when I say “Salve”. Maybe someone I don’t know but I’ve seen a couple of times before but I’m not familiar with this person, so I just say “Salve”.

　　salve用于和一個你不認識的人打招呼。你見過那個人幾面，但又不熟悉，你不知道應該怎么和那個人打招呼的時候，你可以說salve。

　　When you leave, you say “Arrivederci”. But it’s quite high register. You wouldn’t say “Arrivederci” to a friend. You would say “Ciao”.

　　當你要離開的時候，你說“Arrivederci”(再見)，但這個詞非常正式。你一般不會和朋友這么說。一般和朋友都說“Ciao”(拜拜)。

　　So let’s sum up.

　　總結一下。

　　Buongiorno 早上好 [中午12點之前]

　　Buon pomeriggio 下午好 [下午1點-6點]

　　Buonasera 晚上好 [下午6點半-8點]

　　Buonanotte 晚安 [晚上8點-凌晨，一般睡前說]

　　Ciao 你好，拜拜。和家人和朋友說，非正式。

　　Salve 你好。和不熟悉，不知道怎么打招呼的人說。

　　Arrivederci 再見。正式用語。

　　Ci vediamo 拜拜，類似于英語中的see you。和ciao一樣，是和家人朋友說的，非正式用語。
